Key Responsibilities:

Microservices & Backend Development:

• Design and maintain distributed microservices using Kotlin and Spring Boot.

• Ensure services are independent, scalable, and easy to maintain.

• Implement best practices to ensure robust backend systems.

API Development & Database Integration:

• Build RESTful APIs with a focus on performance, security, and scalability.

• Work with SQL/NoSQL databases like PostgreSQL, Redis, and MongoDB.

• Ensure data consistency and optimize database access.

DevOps & CI/CD:

• Collaborate with DevOps teams to automate builds and deployments using CI/CD pipelines.

• Utilize Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.

• Implement monitoring and alerting systems to ensure efficient operations.

Testing & Quality Assurance:

• Write unit and integration tests using frameworks like JUnit and Mockito.

• Conduct code reviews and follow test-driven development (TDD) principles.

• Perform load testing to ensure applications handle high traffic.

Collaboration & Agile Practices:

• Participate in Agile methodologies such as Scrum/Kanban.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including front-end developers and product managers.

• Provide mentorship to junior developers and promote continuous improvement.

Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Spring Boot for backend development.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure).

• Familiarity with relational and NoSQL databases.

• Knowledge of CI/CD tools and logging/monitoring systems (e.g., ELK, Prometheus, Grafana).

• Strong understanding of microservices architecture and RESTful APIs.
